Streamers Injured in Car Accident After Rear-End Collision

After being unexpectedly involved in a car accident, a Kick streamer was left in tears and needed medical care.

During a June 3 stream, ‘Moxie’ from Kick proved why IRL streams are known for their unpredictability on any platform.

Similar to numerous Kick streamers, Moxie was participating in Ice Poseidon’s scavenger hunt competition in Texas and was recording videos while driving across the state when she unexpectedly got rear-ended.

While streaming, a big Ford crashed into the back of her car, causing her head to hurt and nearly knocking her glasses off her face.

“The Canadian cried out, exclaiming, “Oh my God!”while clutching his head in pain. “My head is killing me! Please, get me out of here.”

Moxie’s driver was also displeased and proceeded to express their frustration about the man who had hit them as they pulled over to the side of the road.

In the end, the team made their way to an auto shop where they sought assistance from the staff in finding the hospital. The employees were kind enough to offer their help as she clarified that she was not from America and had no understanding of the medical or legal procedures.

The streamer returned to the scene and expressed her thoughts to the man who had rear-ended her, expressing her confusion at how he had failed to see them.

“I am a better driver than that. I would never get into a car accident,”she exclaimed as she recorded his license plate for evidence.

It is not uncommon for Kick streamers to experience vehicular incidents. In May, while on their way to Ice Poseidon’s scavenger hunt, a streamer almost hit another creator after a dispute over who would participate in the competition.
