Dr Disrespect returned to streaming for the first time after admitting to sending “inappropriate” messages to a fan on Twitch. His fellow streamers, however, are skeptical of his latest explanations.
During his September 6 comeback stream, Dr Disrespect criticized Twitch, alleging that former employees were conspiring against him and attempting to secure his ban from the platform.
He denied having sexual conversations with a minor and asserted that a judge had ruled that the exchanges were not illegal.
Doc mentioned he has “more to disclose” in the future, but for now, he’s stepping back from discussing the issue.

His initial tweet regarding the situation was later deleted, leading to significant backlash from fellow streamers back in June. Now, his new statement has provoked different reactions.
Twitch streamer Asmongold expressed that he sees a “missing piece” in the situation, which is why Twitch compensated Dr Disrespect, suggesting that understanding this aspect could clarify the entire issue.
Asmongold clarified that he doesn’t care how his comments affect others, emphasizing the importance of uncovering the truth.
On the other hand, Amouranth added some humor to the situation, joking about seeing a script reflected in Dr Disrespect’s glasses.

In a more vehement reaction, streamer Adin Ross labeled Dr Disrespect a “f*cking pedophile,” urging viewers not to support him, and highlighting the serious nature of the allegations.

Streamer xQc criticized Dr Disrespect’s claims, suggesting he was “trolling” with his statements and questioned the reasoning behind Twitch’s ban of him if not related to the allegations.
DrLupo responded to Dr Disrespect’s fans, stating that defending the influencer is unreasonable given the context of the allegations.
He emphasized the inappropriateness of messaging a 17-year-old at Dr Disrespect’s age, driving home that such actions should not be defended.
Political streamer Hasan critiqued Dr Disrespect’s character and demeanor during his explanation, questioning how he could maintain a persona amidst serious allegations.
“How are you doing a character in the midst of pedophilia allegations? I’m losing my mind,” Hasan remarked.
At this time, it appears that many in the streaming community are not willing to accept Dr Disrespect’s explanations without further evidence. He plans to continue streaming on YouTube and will reapply for partnership on the platform by September 25.
