As the first anniversary of Street Fighter 6 approaches, players can look forward to special promotions and a generous Fighting Pass. Between June 3 and June 25, the in-game shop will offer tempting discounts on various items. While the cost of Fighter Coins remains the same, many goods will be available at a discounted rate of 20%, including the Outfit 3s for the game’s original 18 fighters.
You can obtain free Outfit 2s for characters by playing through World Tour Mode, including DLC fighters such as Ed and Akuma. However, the same cannot be said for Outfit 3s. These costumes usually cost 300 Fighter Coins (approximately US$6), but during the sale, Outfit 3s for the original cast of the game are discounted to 240 Fighter Coins. This also means that you can purchase a single costume without having to buy the $10 bundle. Instead, you can opt for the 250 Fighter Coin bundle for only $5.
During the sale, certain items will receive a 20% discount, including the “Cartoonish”challenge customization portraits for non-DLC fighters which have been reduced from 100 Fighter Coins to 80 Fighter Coins. Avatar emotes and certain sticker sets will also be discounted from 200 Fighter Coins to 160. In total, there are a few extra items included in the sale.
The “Street Fighter 6 1st Anniversary”Fighting Pass is currently available to commemorate the milestone. It will remain active until June 24 and offers various free rewards such as a sticker, emote, title, anniversary themed frame and background, and an alternative color avatar item inspired by Li-Fen’s glasses. For those who opt for the paid version, additional Li-Fen themed avatar items, music from Suzaku Castle, Air Force Base, and Honda Sento stages, stickers, and enough Fighter Coins to cover the cost of the pass at the final level are included.
It is advisable for players to take advantage of the deals and rewards mentioned above before the end of June, as it could be some time before similar sales are offered again. Additionally, even those who do not plan on purchasing from Street Fighter 6’s in-game shop can still obtain free commemorative items and rewards from the Fighting Pass to commemorate the anniversary.
