“Street Man Fighter” Dancer Accused of Inappropriate Relationship with Minor, Temporarily Halts Activities

Young-J, the leader of Just Jerk dance crew who took part in the show “Street Man Fighter”, has recently been embroiled in several controversies.

Young-J faced accusations of dating a minor and impregnating her. In response to an interview with a media outlet, he clarified that their relationship began after she turned of legal age. However, he did not address the rumors of her pregnancy and abortion. It was also discovered that Young-J’s girlfriend had departed from Just Jerk in February.

Based on a TenAsia investigation on April 18, it has been reported that Young-J, who is currently the representative of the Just Jerk Academy, will be taking a temporary break from his duties. As a result, all dance classes that were planned for this year have been put on hold as well.

Young-J has been teaching at both the Hapjeong and Ewha branches of the Just Jerk Academy every other Thursday at 8:40 p.m. However, Just Jerk recently released a new timetable, causing a change in the schedule. Although Young-J’s classes were originally scheduled at the Hapjeong branch on the 11th and 25th of this month, his spot has now been taken by other talented dancers.

The Just Jerk Academy informed, “Young-J will not be instructing classes this year as he is taking a break.”

Additionally, there have been speculations that he has not only been missing from classes, but also from the academy itself.

Young-J has acknowledged that he has temporarily halted his teaching activities. When questioned about whether he was using this time to prepare for marriage with his girlfriend, he clarified, “It’s for multiple reasons. I am spending quality time with my girlfriend and our relationship is thriving in favorable circumstances.”

When questioned for further details about his girlfriend’s supposed pregnancy, Young-J indirectly declined to comment, citing that he was “currently at an event.”He then swiftly concluded the discussion.

Conversely, in December 2010, J-Ho and Young-J joined forces to create Just Jerk. Their rise to prominence began in 2016 and they have consistently maintained a top-tier reputation in the industry ever since.

After that, Just Jerk was featured on the 2022 season of the Mnet dance show “Street Man Fighter”and ultimately emerged as the winner.
