Jujutsu Kaisen fan art reveals Sukuna’s most menacing avatar yet

It required the extraordinary power of Gojo Satoru and the full might of Team Jujutsu High to defeat the King of Curses, Sukuna. He seemed to have a counter for all attacks, forcing the sorcerers to utilize every strategy, even those previously deemed unthinkable, to ultimately overcome him and save Megumi Fushiguro.

In appreciation of such a masterfully crafted antagonist, a fan shared an illustration of Sukuna. Out of all the depictions of the Demon King, this one stands out as possibly the most sinister. It features Sukuna dressed in traditional Japanese monk-inspired robes, topped off with an Eboshi Hat. His visage is especially striking, showcasing four eyes and a right side that appears distinctly different, amplifying his demonic presence.

Upon closer inspection, this fan art captures the essence of the Demon King accurately. The Eboshi Hat, traditionally worn by nobles and samurai during the Heian Era through the Edo Period, fits Sukuna well as he reigned with the authority of a king and fought with unmatched prowess. His attire mirrors that of a monk, simple yet remarkably distinctive, showcasing the inherent horror that Sukuna embodies even through this artistic interpretation.

Some fans took a creative spin, comparing the artwork to a fusion of Sukuna and Master Tengen from Demon Slayer, dubbing it Sukugen Sama. They imagined that combining these two potent beings would elevate Sukuna’s already overwhelming power to unimaginable heights, possibly rendering him both immortal and volatile.
