Stylish Pokemon Cookware by Le Creuset: A New Collection

The recent emphasis on cooking in the latest Pokémon generations is becoming evident through exciting collaborations with real-world brands. The acclaimed cookware company, Le Creuset, is enhancing its Pokémon partnership from July with a new variety of vibrant cocottes. This upcoming collection is more widely available and spotlights beloved first-generation Pokémon, Pikachu and Eevee.

The latest collaboration features additional serving items, including a pair of large mugs and a quartet of bowls. The mugs are designed in the charming shapes and colors resembling a Poké Ball and a Great Ball, suitable for both beverages and culinary use. The bowl quartet includes two traditional round designs in red and blue, each embossed with a Poké Ball and a Great Ball pattern. However, the standout items are two uniquely shaped bowls: one mimics Pikachu’s head in yellow, and the other takes the form of Eevee’s head in beige. Furthermore, the cookware includes an adorable set of two mini cocottes: one in yellow ombre adorned with Pikachu’s silhouette on the lid, and the other in beige featuring a cream silhouette of Eevee, both embellished with Poké Ball patterns along their sides.

Among the new arrivals, there is an 18 cm cast iron pot, a sleek black redesign of the previous yellow cocotte, complete with Pikachu’s tail graphics on the side and a metallic Poké Ball emblem on the lid’s knob. However, the new items are not merely repackaged versions of the earlier ones. A highlight is the larger 22 cm “signature round” cocotte featuring Pikachu’s silhouette embossed onto the lid. This release does not include a kettle this time, but the running Pikachu silhouettes from the previous kettle return on a stylish gray 20 cm enamel-on-steel casserole pot.

If you find yourself inspired to create Galarian curry or Paldean sandwiches, there’s good news—provided you live in one of 11 specific countries. In addition to Japan, these products will be available through Le Creuset in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, and Thailand starting November 6, 2024, with pre-orders opening from Friday, October 25, until Monday, October 28. For fans outside these eleven lucky countries, importing remains a viable option. Additionally, it might be worth waiting to see if Le Creuset decides to broaden the global scope of this whimsical collaboration or perhaps even release a third delightful cookware series in the future.
