Subway is spicing up its menu with a new cheesy creation, though it’s currently only available at select locations across the United States and Canada.
In addition to their iconic footlong subs, Subway has expanded its offerings since January with footlong “Sidekicks,” featuring indulgent items like Cinnabon Churros, Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, and Chocolate Chip Cookies. Recently, the chain has also introduced festive cookie varieties, such as Double Chocolate Peppermint, to celebrate the holiday season.
As reported by Instagram user ‘snackolater,’ Subway has launched footlong Nachos, which have quickly garnered attention. This new item features a base of Nacho Cheese Doritos, topped generously with melted cheese, various meats, zesty sauces, and a selection of additional toppings, including jalapeños, tomatoes, and black olives.
While fanfare surrounds Subway’s footlong Nachos, they are still in the testing phase and not yet available at every outlet. This limited launch has stirred mixed reactions among customers.
Customer Reactions to Subway’s Footlong Nachos
Similar to their $5 footlong sub promotion, the new Nachos are reportedly priced at the same rate. However, it remains uncertain whether this menu item will eventually reach all Subway locations across the United States. Some customers on social media have expressed indifference towards the addition, with one user stating, “Nah bruh this ain’t it,”while another mused, “I thought Subway was healthy food?”
Conversely, many Subway enthusiasts have embraced this new offering, with comments like, “I like where this is headed,”and “Nachos for the table please,”reflecting a positive reception.
These footlong Nachos add to a year of exciting menu innovations for Subway. Earlier this summer, they unveiled several new sub options, including Honey Mustard BBQ Chicken, Cheesy Garlic Steak, and Spicy Nacho Chicken, as well as unique items like Ghost Pepper Bread and Cheddar Cheese Sauce, alongside meat and cheese-filled Dippers.
With such developments, Subway continues to evolve its menu, drawing both excitement and scrutiny from loyal customers.
