Despite the Skeleton Queen’s defeat in episode 10 of Suicide Squad Isekai, the anime continued to tease future developments as the Joker was unmasked as the Emperor. This twist occurred just as it seemed like the story had reached its endpoint.
In the previous episode of the anime, the Skeleton Queen made her long-awaited appearance, causing Fione to step up and take control of the Kingdom. Shortly after, Harley and their allies arrived to assist Fione. While Harley successfully defeated Enchantress, Katana led Clay Face and Rick Flag to the location of Enchantress’s body.
Suicide Squad Isekai: Fione’s Victory over the Skeleton Queen with the Hero’s Sword
The tenth episode of Suicide Squad Isekai began with Rick Flag and Clay Face recovering Enchantress’s true form. During this event, Enchantress experienced the suffering caused by Clay Face and Rick Flag’s unintentional mistreatment of her body. Despite Harley’s promise to return her body, Enchantress was still furious and lashed out at her.
During this time, Peacemaker assisted King Shark in his battle against Leviathan by manipulating its gills. After that, Killer Croc was crushed by Leviathan.
At another location, during the same period, Cecil sustained an injury and entrusted the Hero’s armor to Deadshot. He requested that Deadshot use the armor to safeguard Fione and defend the Kingdom. Initially reluctant, Deadshot eventually embraced the armor’s abilities and took it away from Cecil.
Shortly after, Enchantress was once again united with her true form, freeing her from any obligation to obey Skeleton Queen’s orders. As a result, she readily joined forces with the squad and joined the battle against the zombies.
Immediately following, Deadshot brought the armor and had the squad put on various pieces. Donning the armor resulted in the squad sporting new ensembles and gaining enhanced abilities.
Despite the squad’s efforts in fighting the zombies, their constant spawning due to their undead nature proved to be a challenge. In order to level the playing field, Enchantress stepped in and assisted the squad in defeating the Skeleton Queen.
Harley became aware of Fione’s magical abilities during this time. With this knowledge, she cunningly swapped places with the princess, catching the Skeleton Queen off-guard. As a result, when the undead mistakenly captured Fione, she used her magic to summon the hero’s sword from King Shark’s belly and successfully beheaded the Skeleton Queen.
Following the altercation, it was disclosed that Harley and Fione had become more intimate, with Harley affectionately dubbing the princess “Fio.”
Rick Flag was the one who informed Amanda Waller about the events. It turned out that Katana had not actually traveled to another world, as it was previously believed. The person posing as the Empire’s representative, Katana, was actually The Joker, the true Emperor. This revelation left viewers anticipating a potential sequel series for the anime.
