Suicide Squad Isekai: Episode 5 Recap

The fifth episode of Suicide Squad Isekai opened with Harley and her team successfully reaching the gate in time, resetting the countdown on the bombs inside them. However, Rick Flag reminded them that they still had to complete their mission, as indicated by the continuous signal. This led to a significant time jump, and the group was shown assisting the Queen in fighting the Empire, with Deadshot still having ammo.

After reaching the mountain where Rick had landed, the group made their way to his original helicopter. Despite being turned into a dragon nest, the helicopter still held valuable resources for them. As they deliberated their next move, the dragon suddenly appeared and launched an attack. The group initially fought for survival, but Nanaue, also known as King Shark, was eventually captured by the dragon. In a last-ditch effort, the group split up with some retrieving supplies while Clayface used his abilities to create a barrier to fend off the dragon.

Despite Deadshot’s attempt to fire his last bullet into the dragon’s eye, it was deflected by the dragon closing its eyelid. Rick discovered a communications device among the weapons, but kept it to himself. Later, Deadshot was equipped with an RPG and successfully used it to defeat the dragon. As they searched the area, they stumbled upon a dragon egg that hatched in Harley’s hands. The episode concluded with Rick contacting Amanda Waller, who instructed him to eliminate the advance party who had encountered Enchantress and The Thinker.

What to expect from episode 6 of the Suicide Squad Isekai series (speculative)

As the next episode of Suicide Squad Isekai prepares for a significant battle between Harley’s team and Enchantress, episode 6 will kickstart a series of conflicts that will lead the show towards its finale. With the series scheduled for only 10 episodes, Enchantress will become the second member of the advanced group that Harley and her team encounter.

It is expected that in the upcoming episode 6, there will be further communication between Rick Flag and Amanda Waller. This interaction may provide more insight into Waller’s plan. Rick’s reaction to Waller’s order to kill the advance party suggests that there may be more to her motivations than initially thought. The true intentions of Waller and her group may gradually be uncovered as the series reaches its final installments.
