As they departed, Fione chased after them, offering apologies for the unfortunate outcome, but was met with Harley’s cold indifference. The group eventually found themselves at a tavern, where they engaged in a drunken brawl. The following day, Rick woke up the hungover group and informed them that they needed to go to the Gate to reset the timer on their bombs in order to save Nanue.
When Harley and Arty left the bar, she made the decision to leave him behind, believing there was nothing for him in their world. Rick reached out to Amanda Waller, who detonated Clayface’s bomb, ultimately killing him due to the mission’s perceived difficulty. However, as they witnessed the Royal Capital engulfed in flames, it convinced Harley to give the mission one last attempt. As the episode concluded, Clayface miraculously revived, the crew set off, and Fione made the shocking discovery that her mother was under possession.
