The latest chapters of Jujutsu Kaisen in the manga have depicted a notable difference in Ryomen Sukuna’s Domain Expansion, which is usually recognized as the Malevolent Shrine. This is due to his weakened state following his confrontation with Gojo.
Nevertheless, it should be noted that Infinite Void is able to neutralize the barrier of his Domain, in addition to the gradual exhaustion of the King of Curses during the ongoing battle.
Undoubtedly, Sukuna has displayed an unparalleled level of dominance throughout his tenure in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga. However, in the current arc, he has been engaged in relentless battles since Satoru Gojo became the first challenger. This has undeniably taken a toll on him, evident in the state of his Domain and the loss of both his arms.

Explaining how Sukuna’s changing Domain shows he is slowly being weakened in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga
Fans have observed a notable difference in Ryomen Sukuna’s Domain Expansion, Malevolent Shrine, in the recent chapters of the manga. Although this could be attributed to a change in aesthetics by author Gege Akutami, the Domain has also demonstrated a shorter duration and reduced damage compared to its usual form.
This is due to the ongoing battles Sukuna has endured, including sustaining brain injuries from Satoru Gojo, losing limbs, and suffering a significant heart injury in subsequent fights with other sorcerers. Additionally, Yuta Okkotsu’s execution of Gojo’s Domain in Gojo’s body was able to negate Sukuna’s barriers.
Hence, it is logical that Sukuna’s Domain is transforming as he is unable to perform its most potent form. This is further evidenced by his use of a hand sign to activate his Domain Expansion due to fatigue, indicating that he has indeed been weakened during the fight.
Possible Plot Developments
The upcoming chapters of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga will heavily feature Sukuna’s ongoing battle with Yuta Okkotsu, as he has now possessed Satoru Gojo’s body. It is likely that these chapters will bring a conclusion to the fight, considering Yuta’s time limit for combat.
Currently, there is a subplot in the series involving a fight between Uraume and Hakari. This battle has become a running joke among fans, with many jokingly accusing author Gege Akutami of “forgetting”about it. However, Akutami is known for incorporating unexpected twists into the story, so it is important to keep that in mind.
Concluding Remarks
In Jujutsu Kaisen, it has been demonstrated that Sukuna, despite his dominance in battle, has suffered greatly from fighting numerous opponents in succession. As evidenced by his weakened state in his Domain, this could ultimately lead to his downfall.
