Summer Pockets Anime Releases First Trailer, Theme Songs, and Additional Details for 2025 Premiere

The official staff for the Summer Pockets anime hosted a Prologue Party livestream on September 15, 2024, revealing the first promotional video, additional cast, theme songs, and the main visual for the series. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2025.

Produced by Studio Feel, the Summer Pockets anime adapts the visual novel of the same name by Visual Arts/Key and Prototype. The game was initially released for PC in June 2018, followed by a Nintendo Switch version in June 2019, available in both physical and digital formats.

Summer Pockets anime’s trailer features Hairi Takahara, Shiroha Naruse, and others

The official website and X (formerly Twitter) account for the Summer Pockets anime released the first trailer on September 15, 2024. The trailer was initially showcased at the show’s Prologue Party livestream.

This short trailer showcases the beautiful Torishirojima island, where Hairi Takahara, a high school student, arrives during his summer vacation. Besides highlighting the main characters, the trailer emphasizes the anime’s stunning scenery and tranquil animation, confirming its 2025 release window.

Alongside the promotional video, information about the anime’s theme songs has been disclosed. Konomi Suzuki, who performed the original visual novel’s theme songs, sings both the opening theme, “ALKA TALE,”and the ending theme, “Lasting Moment.”

The main visual has also been unveiled, depicting the main heroines—Shiroha Naruse, Kamome Kushima, Ao Sorakado, and Tsumugi Wenders—against an ocean backdrop.

Additionally, the staff announced new cast members for the series: Saku Ichimiya as Miki Nomura, Aimi Tanaka as Umi Kato, Sahomi Koyama as Shizuku Mizuori, and Megumi Takamoto as Kyoko Misaki.

Minoru Shiraishi voices Kobato Naruse, while Konomi Suzuki plays Inari. Kentaro Kumagai features as Ryoichi Mitani, and Yohei Hamada lends his voice to Tenzen Kano.

Tomoki Kobayashi directs the anime at Studio Feel, with Keiichiro Ochi supervising the series scripts. The music composers include Shinji Orito, Jun Maeda, Ryo Mizutsuki, Shuhei Ohashi, Tomohiro Takeshita, and Donmaru. Mai Otsuka is the character designer, while Ryosuke Naya serves as the sound director.

The Summer Pockets anime follows Hairi Takahara, a high school student who travels to Torishirojima island during summer break to sort through his grandmother’s belongings. His perspective on life transforms as he interacts with various individuals on the island.
