Super Junior Donghae, Eunhyuk, Kyuhyun Part Ways With SM Entertainment — See Details Here!
Super Junior members Donghae, Eunhyuk, and Kyuhyun are now leaving their longtime agency SM Entertainment.
SuJu Members Donghae, Eunhyuk, Kyuhyun Depart From SM Entertainment After 17 Years
On July 14, SM Entertainment announced that Super Junior members Donghae, Eunhyuk, and Kyuhyun have not renewed their exclusive contracts under the agency.
SM also added that all three idols will now be pursuing their own solo activities. Despite their plans to continue individually, the agency also followed up that Donghae, Eunhyuk, and Kyuhyun will still resume their group activities together with Super Junior.
SM Entertainment stated:
“Super Junior members Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Kyuhyun have decided not to renew their exclusive contracts with the agency and will now be working their solo endeavors.
The three members will still be resuming their group promotions together with Super Junior, alongside SM Entertainment.
We will be cheering them on as they turn over a new chapter comprised of challenges, and we also plan to stay in touch and communicate effectively, for them to carry out their solo career and group activities simultaneously.”
Meanwhile, Super Junior members Leeteuk, Kim Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Choi Siwon, and Ryeowook have all restored their exclusive contracts under SM Entertainment.
Both Donghae and Eunhyuk debuted in Super Junior in 2005, while the group’s youngest member Kyuhyun joined a year later in 2006 as addition.
Super Junior debuted on November 6, 2005, with their performance of “Twins (Knock Out)”on SBS’s Inkigayo. The track is from their debut full-length album “Super Junior 05.”
