Super Junior OT15 Reunites for First Group Performance in 10 Years at Ryeowook-Ari Wedding

More than ten years later, the original 15 members of Super Junior came together for a heartwarming reunion at Ryeowook-Ari’s wedding. Their group chant and 2024 version of their popular song brought tears to fans’ eyes and captured the essence of their reunion.

The anticipated marriage of “power couple”Ryeowook and former TAHITI member Ari was finally celebrated in Seoul on May 26.

After being together publicly for four years, they made the decision to officially get married in 2020. They chose to have a small, private ceremony with their loved ones in attendance.

On that very day, footage and images from the occasion circulated on the internet, causing ELFs (fanbase) to become emotional at the sight of the couple happily smiling side by side.

Yet, what caused them to cry even harder was when they realized that EVERY single member was in attendance at the wedding!

When we referred to “all,”we specifically meant OT15!

The photo that initially spread, featuring all 13 members including Sungmin and former members Kangin, Kibum and Hangeng, touched the hearts of fans in particular.

Despite the overwhelming emotions of fans who were moved to tears, their excitement reached new heights after videos were released featuring Super Junior-M members Henry and Zhou Mi at the event.

The attendees shared clips of Super Junior’s performance at the wedding ceremony, where they all sang the 2024 version of their popular hit song, “Sorry Sorry,”making the event even more memorable.

This song holds significant meaning for them as it is the same track that propelled the group to fame beyond South Korea.

Over a span of more than ten years, the group came together to perform their first group chant as a complete group of fifteen members, led by their leader Leeteuk.

When he yelled:

“Urineun Super Juni–”

Without thinking, the members yelled and made their hand gesture, uttering:

“OEYO!”

Following the ceremony, an official confirmed the news, stating:

“All Super Junior members attended and the wedding was completed, which added more meaning to it. Ryeowook got married in joy, receiving warm blessings from the entire Super Junior group.”

This marks the first reunion of OT15 since Han Geng’s departure from the group in 2009, when he filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment seeking to end his contract.

Despite their efforts, the OT15 members were unable to reunite due to a variety of reasons, including military enlistment and some teammates departing from the group.

After their contract expired, Kibum and Henry decided to leave the group and pursue their individual careers as actors and musicians. Meanwhile, Kangin made the decision to leave Super Junior on his own accord following his involvement in drunk driving incidents.

Sungmin remains a member of the group, but he became inactive in 2014 after marrying musical actress Kim Sa Eun. Currently, he is focused on his transition to becoming a trot singer. Additionally, Zhou Mi is the only remaining Chinese member of Super Junior-M, but the sub-group has been inactive since 2015.
