On April 18th, Super Junior member Ryeowook expressed his thoughts, stating, “I am unsure if it is necessary for me to explain, but there are individuals who believe that even my fans do not appreciate me.”

Ryeowook expressed, “He profited from his fans and kept all of the money. I empathize with the fans and their disappointment. If I were in your position, I would also feel hurt.”To those who have insulted me, do you believe that spending money on me as a fan gives you the right to act however you please? Is this not a form of abuse of power? Why am I not allowed to defend myself when I am hurt by your words? Are celebrities not human beings? Must I endure this pain without being able to speak out? If that is the case, then only AI celebrities will be able to survive.”
