Supervive: A New Contender in the MOBA Battle Royale Scene
Supervive, an innovative hybrid of the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) and battle royale genres, has rapidly ascended to prominence on Steam and made waves on Twitch since its launch. This game, developed by Theorycraft Games, has even outperformed League of Legends on Twitch shortly after its release.
Launched on November 20 in Steam Early Access, Supervive invites players to engage in epic battles against both competitors and various monsters, creating an adrenaline-pumping gaming experience.
Inspired by the dynamics of League of Legends, Supervive emphasizes fast-paced combat coupled with thoughtful strategy and teamwork. The early response has been overwhelmingly positive, with hundreds of thousands of gamers eagerly exploring the game’s offerings.
Impressive Launch Success
Upon its launch, Supervive recorded a peak concurrent player count of 45,615 on Steam, illustrating its immediate popularity. This milestone was achieved as recently as November 24, placing it second on SteamDB’s Trending Games chart, just behind the immensely popular Stalker 2, which boasted over 120,000 concurrent players.
Additionally, Supervive captured attention on Twitch on its release day by surpassing League of Legends in viewer count, attracting an audience of 115,000 viewers compared to League of Legends’ 108,000 viewers. This impressive feat is a testament to the game’s compelling appeal.

What to Expect in Early Access
For those interested in joining the adventure, Supervive is available as a free-to-play game during its Early Access phase, which is expected to last anywhere from six months to a year. Players can currently choose from 16 unique characters, termed “Hunters,”and participate in three distinct game modes: 4v4 Arena, Battle Royale Squads, and Battle Royale Duos.
Theorycraft Games has indicated that the Early Access period will conclude once enhancements to the game’s art, gameplay mechanics, and metagame progression have been implemented. If the current version is any indication of future potential, Supervive appears poised for a bright future in the gaming landscape.
