Surprising Discovery for Marvel Fans: Hugh Jackman Not the Only Live-Action Wolverine

In the midst of the excitement surrounding Deadpool and Wolverine, Marvel fans have been reminded that Hugh Jackman is not the sole actor to portray Logan in live-action.

For almost 25 years, Hugh Jackman has portrayed Wolverine on the silver screen. He is returning to the role after a seven-year break for the release of Deadpool & Wolverine this summer.

However, it appears that some Marvel enthusiasts either failed to recall or were uninformed about the fact that another performer has portrayed Logan in a live-action setting. In response to a popular social media post, numerous individuals expressed astonishment upon discovering the identity of said actor.

As pointed out by Twitter user CathodeCaster in a popular tweet, Troye Sivan, an Australian YouTuber and pop star, played a young Logan in the 2009 film X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

The user expressed amusement at the fact that Troye Sivan is the only other actor to have portrayed Wolverine in a live-action role.

Therefore, the tweet has now accumulated more than five million views and 35,000 likes. Among the replies, someone pointed out that Troye Sivan’s portrayal of Wolverine was his debut acting role.

Some expressed their disbelief upon realizing the truth. The comments were flooded with different versions of “Was that really Troye?!”and “Hold on, the singer? That was Troye Sivan? No way.”

Another shocked user commented, “I have learned something new today.”

It can also be argued that Dafne Keene’s portrayal of Laura/X-23 in Logan can be considered as another live-action version of Wolverine. What’s noteworthy is that both of the actors who have played the character in live-action films have been Australian.
