Two beloved Shonen manga series, One Piece and Sakamoto Days, have recently showcased an surprising crossover through the One Piece Card Game. Here’s everything you need to know.

The One Piece Card Game debuted in Japan in July 2022 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the iconic manga created by Eiichiro Oda. Following its initial release, the game was rolled out globally later that same year. This collectible card game immerses players in the world of One Piece, allowing them to assemble unique decks and battle opponents with the goal of lowering their rival’s life points to zero.

In an exciting addition, Sakamoto Days creator Yuto Suzuki illustrated a collectible card featuring the popular character Shanks. Sakamoto Days has quickly become one of the most popular new-generation Shonen manga and is set to receive an anime adaptation, further boosting its popularity. Additionally, Kyousuke Usuta, the creator of J Stars Victory VS, contributed an illustration of Buggy for the game.
