Suspect Escorted from Jail to Jumpstart RV He Allegedly Stole Months Prior

Authorities escorted a man accused of stealing a woman’s RV from county jail in order to assist in jumpstarting the vehicle.

Olive Teague, a popular TikToker, has been sharing her experience of losing her RV in December 2023. The RV was not only her home but also her workspace. She has been documenting the incident throughout the month of May.

After five months, when it was found 100 miles away from where it was originally taken, Olive confidently declared to KIRO 7 News that the RV was indeed hers.

Despite her shock, she encountered the man who she believed had stolen her RV when he was released from jail to assist her in jumpstarting the ignition.

Olive’s friend, who was also the suspect, can be seen in an orange jumpsuit in her viral TikTok video, which has amassed over 12 million views. Meanwhile, the TikToker can be seen cleaning the rear of the RV as the friend works on starting it.

The suspect was the only person authorities could turn to for assistance, so they escorted him to help after realizing that Olive and her friend’s actions were causing damage to the ignition.

Luckily, the defendant managed to quickly start the RV and was then transported back to the county jail.

The person told the news outlet that they were extremely surprised by what they were witnessing. They believed that without recording the video at that moment, they would not be able to believe it now.

Olive’s belongings were stolen from inside the vehicle and as a result, their friend set up a GoFundMe to help them get their home back.

The inside of the RV also suffered “significant damage.”The fundraiser page reported that the interior was mostly destroyed by fire. Additionally, the solar panels and AC unit were stolen during the incident.

Upon returning the vehicle, Olive discovered drugs, guns, stolen jewelry, bike parts, hunting weapons, a raccoon trap, and other unspecified items while cleaning. Among the discoveries was also a cat inside the RV, which Olive and her friend described as “the sweetest.”
