Swagg Raises Concerns Over Warzone & Black Ops 6 Amidst Rising Hackers and Lack of Updates

According to FaZe Clan’s Swagg, the current state of Call of Duty is experiencing significant challenges, particularly regarding the integration of Black Ops 6 and Warzone. He asserts that hackers have made gameplay nearly impossible, referring to the situation as the franchise’s “worst”moment.

In recent years, the frustration within the Call of Duty community regarding cheating has escalated tremendously. Many players abandoned the franchise following the Verdansk era due to rampant cheating that ruined the experience for countless gamers.

Although Ricochet, a newly implemented anti-cheat system, has initiated several ban waves to target cheaters, Activision has conceded that it has “missed the mark,”especially with the latest release, Black Ops 6. The company has assured players that enhancements are on the way to strengthen the anti-cheat framework. However, skepticism remains prevalent among fans, including Swagg, who has temporarily stepped away from active gameplay.

Swagg Voices Concerns Over Cheating in CoD

In a video released on December 18, the Nuke Squad leader voiced his grievances, stating that the gaming environment has become increasingly untenable due to the influx of hackers. He emphatically expressed, “Hackers are worse than Verdansk, way worse than Verdansk. The hacking levels are at an all-time high. You can’t even play the game.”

Swagg further highlighted the lack of immediate solutions, noting that the Call of Duty development team is currently on break. He pointed out that without any upcoming updates, players are facing a prolonged period of disruptive gameplay. “They are all on break. When they said Season 2, that’s going to be at the end of January. January 29 is when Season 2 is leaked. So, we are looking at about 45 days of people just hacking and crashing the lobby. I can’t do 45 days of that, I can’t,” he lamented.

Swagg is not alone in his criticism; other notable figures in the gaming community have also echoed similar sentiments. Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag, the head of 100 Thieves, recently announced that he would be stepping back from the game due to ongoing poor performance issues.
