Following an abrupt departure from Warzone during a live stream, renowned Call of Duty content creator Swagg shifted his focus to the hero shooter, Marvel Rivals.
The sentiment surrounding Call of Duty has soured recently, particularly due to ongoing issues with cheating and hacking that have plagued the Black Ops 6 multiplayer experience. Even the Zombies mode has not escaped criticism, facing complaints over persistent bugs that were meant to have been resolved.
As the hacker dilemma intensified towards the end of 2024, many players of Warzone started abandoning the game, a trend reflected in the significant drop in its user base.
Content creators, including FaZe Clan’s Swagg, have openly shared their frustrations regarding the future of the battle royale. Swagg expressed particular discontent over the challenges he faced while trying to enjoy the game, and his patience finally reached a breaking point.

During a stream on January 7, Swagg’s increasing frustration culminated in a dramatic switch from Warzone to another game.
“I’m done, bro,” he exclaimed multiple times to his teammates, ultimately declaring his intention to dive into Marvel Rivals.

In a follow-up tweet shortly after, Swagg elaborated on his decision, stating, “Warzone is worse this week than last week. Can’t even queue into games.”
After several hours of enjoying himself with Marvel Rivals, Swagg mentioned that he is likely to feature it in his upcoming streams while also working on advancing his Silver 2 Punisher rank in Competitive Mode.
As of now, Swagg has returned to Twitch for another Call of Duty: Warzone stream. However, it appears the cheating issue persists, with his stream displaying a “Hacker Counter” that tallied roughly a dozen cheaters encountered during gameplay.
The problem of cheating has long been a thorn in the side of the Call of Duty series, but the situation has deteriorated significantly in recent months. While developers have pledged to enhance the game’s anti-cheat measures in 2025, there remains uncertainty about when players can expect viable changes to be implemented.
