On June 12th, Netflix released an official press release announcing the release of “Sweet Home”Season 3 (directed by Lee Eung-bok) on July 19th, along with the unveiling of the season’s poster.
In “Sweet Home”Season 3, we witness the intense and urgent struggle of those who are faced with difficult decisions in a world that has undergone a complete transformation, with the emergence of a new form of humanity and the blurring of the boundaries between monsters and humans.
The poster for the launch features Hyun-su (portrayed by Song Kang) walking through a ruined city, surrounded by haunting images of monstrous transformations. This intriguing portrayal of Hyun-su, now with wings of a monster, sparks curiosity about his potential to regain his human self after being consumed by a monster in the Season 2 finale.
The numerous cocoons suspended from the ceiling, radiating light from within, also suggest the emergence of a new era for mankind. The phrase “The end of all evolution”only adds to the intrigue surrounding the upcoming storyline in Season 3.
Furthermore, the third season, which will serve as the finale of the “Sweet Home” series, is set to release exclusively on Netflix on Friday, July 19th.
