Taco Bell’s highly anticipated Street Chalupa could potentially be added to menus across the country, providing customers with something exciting to anticipate for the upcoming summer.
In June, we shared the list of Taco Bell items that were rumored to be added to menus during the summer. Among these was the Street Chalupa, a cheesy shell filled with a blend of melted mozzarella and pepper jack cheese, a choice of meat, fresh onion, cilantro, spicy jalapeños, and a creamy ranch sauce.
It seems that this forecast may finally come to fruition with the recent announcement of DoorDash’s fifth annual Summer of DashPass. This event promises exclusive deals and prizes for members, including popular fast food brands.
The promotion will last for a period of five weeks, and offers a savings of $8 on purchases of $25 or more, which includes Taco Bell’s latest Street Chalupas.
During Summer’s Final Splash, which is scheduled to take place from July 18 to July 24, 2024, customers will have the opportunity to enjoy a $8 discount. This could indicate that the Street Chalupa will be released during this time period.
The Cheesy Street Chalupa, originally priced between $5.49 and $5.99, was first introduced in 2023 and was later named the Street Chalupa.
In addition to this new item at Taco Bell, there are others to anticipate. According to food blogger Markie Devo, the summer season will also see the release of Jalapeño Ranch Nacho Fries for customers to enjoy.
The fries will be seasoned and served with a spicy jalapeño ranch sauce, and customers can choose between a hearty beef or flavorful veggie option.
