As the concert neared its conclusion, Rain took a moment to express his sorrow regarding the recent loss suffered by his colleague Koo Jun-yup, whose wife Barbie Hsu tragically passed away. In a heartfelt statement, Rain described Koo as a cherished senior in the K-pop industry and conveyed collective grief over his loss.“Koo Jun-yup is a beloved senior and a respected figure in K-pop. We are all saddened by his pain, ”Rain remarked.

Notably, Barbie and Koo Jun-yup’s relationship spans decades, having initially dated in 1998 for about a year before reuniting after over twenty years and tying the knot in 2022.
