- Amelia — Often considered the most formidable support in the game, Amelia can buff and resurrect allies while debuffing enemies. This capability makes her essential for high-level PvP play, and she’s definitely worth rerolling for.
- Chloe — Chloe stands out as one of the top Physical Damage Dealers (P. DPS) in the game. She gains crowd control (CC) immunity during her ultimate ability and can inflict various CCs herself, making her a dominating presence in both PvE and PvP.
- Takiki — Takiki excels at eliminating enemy damage dealers with astonishing damage output. She also enjoys CC immunity, bonus damage, and lifesteal effects, solidifying her position as one of the strongest adventurers currently available in Tales of Terrarum.
- Bell — Bell’s ultimate ability provides lifesteal, physical damage, critical hits, and multiple bonuses. Additionally, he drains and decreases enemy energy regeneration, which is crucial for late-game PvP strategies.
- Victoria — Acknowledged as one of the strongest P. DPSs, Victoria’s ultimate delivers massive damage while enhancing her stats for ten seconds. If she eliminates an enemy, she can cast her ultimate again, and the CC abilities within her kit add extra value.
- Merilyn — Recognized as the premier tank in Tales of Terrarum, Merilyn can taunt enemies and bolster her defense throughout combat. Importantly, she can save allies from death, providing healing and shielding during critical moments. She is essential for any competitive team.
S Tier Tales of Earth Adventurers
- Vivian — As one of the best debuffers in Tales of Terrarum, Vivian can reduce enemy energy regeneration and silence them. Furthermore, she has a self-revival capability once per battle, heightening her effectiveness in combat.
- Angel — The best pure healer in ToT, Angel’s healing capabilities are unparalleled. However, her damage output is minimal, so prioritize her upgrades later in the game.
- Fernandes — A healer who also inflicts solid damage over time, Fernandes doesn’t excel in either category, making him a less-than-ideal choice for meta teams.
- Kay — Kay is a P. DPS strong against single targets, but he lacks self-sustain, making him a relatively weaker option early on; however, he performs decently in later stages.
- Agnus — A mage tank who specializes in dealing damage while reflecting enemy attacks, Agnus suffers from a lack of self-sustain and utility compared to Merilyn.
- Cecilia — Focusing on dealing damage across the enemy team and applying burn, Cecilia also provides buffs to fellow mages, enhancing her usefulness in mage-oriented teams.
- Vera — Vera is a remarkable epic support, enhancing ally damage, restoring health and energy, and granting CC immunity. Her capabilities are impressive given her rarity.
- Ansha — When leveled up, Ansha grows extraordinarily powerful. Her passive abilities grant lifesteal and boosted stats when her HP decreases. Provided with shields, she can become a significant asset.
A Tier Tales of Earth Adventurers
- Morris — This mage healer can cleanse debuffs and provide healing/shielding for your team. Utilize him until you acquire a more suitable meta healer like Angel.
- Duncan — As a support shooter, Duncan regenerates energy and boosts the attack of other characters, providing more value than a lower-tier damage dealer.
- Yuli — A capable DPS who can stun enemies, Yuli also grants herself buffs that increase damage and immunity to control effects, making her efficient against CC-heavy foes.
- Viretti — Viretti clears enemy buffs while reducing their Magic Defense (M. DEF). Although not as meta as legendary adventurers, she remains viable early in the game.
- Tormund — Combining tank and DPS capabilities, Tormund’s ultimate can potentially one-shot enemies if all hits land on a single target; however, damage is often distributed across multiple foes.
- Denisa — A melee DPS capable of bypassing enemy defenses and shields with her ultimate, Denisa is particularly effective against tanks like Merilyn in PvP.
B Tier Tales of Earth Adventurers
- Jeno — A support/DPS who can create confusion among enemies by forcing them to attack one another, Jeno’s viability is limited against meta teams that cleanse or ignore his abilities.
- Melody — Effectively removing low HP enemies, Melody heals herself and gains stat bonuses with each execution; however, other characters also seek the last hits, diminishing her uniqueness.
- Skobian — As a P. DPS who can debuff enemy defense, Skobian’s overall damage and utility do not sufficiently qualify him as a competitive option.
- Paul — Paul summons wolves that inherit his stats and inflict decent damage, but his utility outside of confusion effects is limited.
- Carol — With her anti-heal and damage-over-time (DoT) abilities, Carol can be invaluable against lifesteal enemies, though most meta decks have ways to cleanse these effects.
C Tier Tales of Earth Adventurers
- Aiden — Aiden’s ability to taunt enemies makes him a useful frontliner, marking him as one of the few elite adventurers worth utilizing.
- Taylor — Despite possessing excellent CC skills, Taylor’s elite-tier stats greatly impede his overall effectiveness.
D Tier Tales of Earth Adventurers
- Robin — Primarily providing raw DPS, Robin is a character I recommend only if you possess no other options.
- Snow — Although Snow inflicts solid magic damage and can debuff foes, his lack of utility renders him non-competitive.
