During an interview that took place in Jongno-gu, Seoul on June 3rd, Tang Wei discussed her thoughts on “Wonderland”, stating that it was a visual delight. She also commented on the stunning appearance of the couples in the film.
Tang Wei commented on the appearance of Park Bo-gum and Suzy on “The Seasons”during a promotional event, expressing, “After watching, I was amazed. The chemistry between them was incredible and it was a delight to the eyes. It was truly a visual treat.”
In addition, Tang Wei also revealed the responses from China regarding Park Bo-gum and Suzy. According to her, there are frequent discussions on Weibo about the two being a potential couple, with many expressing their desire for them to date in real life. This sentiment is also shared by Chinese media, who have openly expressed their hope for the two to become a couple. Tang Wei personally experienced this when she saw them singing together in the movie and was amazed by their chemistry.
Tang Wei’s first appearance on the big screen was in 2007, starring in Ang Lee’s “Lust, Caution”. She then ventured into the Korean film scene with Kim Tae-yong’s “Late Autumn”, the same director she later married. In fact, she made history by becoming the first non-Korean to be honored with the Best Actress Award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards for her performance in Park Chan-wook’s “Decision to Leave”.
In her first collaboration with her husband in a long while, Tang Wei portrays Bai Li in the film “Wonderland”. Bai Li is a global fund manager residing in Korea who, upon discovering her limited time, seeks the assistance of the Wonderland service to remain near her young daughter.
“Wonderland”is a film that explores the theme of reconnecting with a loved one who has passed away through a video call. Its release date is scheduled for June 5th.
