Tao Engaged? Here’s Why the Former EXO Member Is Speculated To Get Married

There is speculation among fans that Tao, a former member of EXO, is getting ready to get married!

Tao has been the subject of speculation for the past four years regarding his relationship with Xu Yiyang, a singer and actress signed to his company L.TAO Entertainment. Despite previously denying any romantic involvement, their frequent snuggling and outings captured in viral photos and videos have led many to believe in their love for each other.

It is now believed by fans that they are progressing to the next level in their relationship.

Is Tao from EXO Engaged to Xu Yiyang?

On April 29, social media platform Weibo was buzzing with rumors that Tao had proposed to his rumored girlfriend, Xu Yiyang. A Chinese netizen alleged to have spotted Tao dressed in formal attire at a luxurious hotel in Lijiang, Yunnan.

The artist was spotted with his companions, escorted by a staff member to a secluded section.

Shortly after, pictures of Tao donning a white suit began circulating on social media. In the photos, Tao can be seen happily conversing with his friends while hiding in the forest. It has sparked speculation amongst many that these images were taken at the spot where Tao proposed to Xu Yiyang.

Currently, “Huang Zitao proposes”is the most popular topic on Weibo, with the highest number of views and posts. Fans on the social media platform are eagerly anticipating Tao’s engagement announcement. Many are captivated by the love story of Tao and Xu Yiyang, which evolved from CEO and artist to lovers after a nearly four-year relationship.

At the time of writing, Tao has yet to confirm if he is indeed engaged to the singer.

Is Former EXO Tao In A Long-Term Relationship With Xu Yiyang?

Since 2020, Tao and Xu Yiyang have been connected to each other. During Xu Yiyang’s appearance on “Produce Camp 2020,”it was observed that Tao made efforts to garner support for her, going as far as asking fans to vote for her even though he was a judge on the show.

Tao’s sole presence on social media was marked by his following of only one account: Xu Yiyang’s.

In the last year, videos and pictures of the couple’s dates gained popularity on social media. Most recently, they were seen together on a trip to Yunnan, and many online users noted that Tao was always by Xu Yiyang’s side, attentively looking after her.

Xu Yiyang’s idol seemed to display signs of jealousy when a male fan approached and openly professed his fandom.

Tao’s fans have alleged that he went as far as introducing Xu Yiyang to his family.

Despite being born in 1993, Tao made his debut as a member of EXO in 2012. However, he eventually left the group and returned to China where he established his own company and embarked on a successful solo career. Notably, Tao has gained a reputation for his immense wealth and is recognized as one of the youngest artists in China to own a private jet.

In the meantime, Xu Yiyang was born in 1993. She had previously trained with SM Entertainment and was a member of SM Rookies, a group of trainees that the company introduced to the public and gave opportunities to participate in various activities. However, she departed in 2018 and went back to China.

In 2020, she participated in “Produce Camp 2020″but was unable to debut with the final girl group. She has since pursued a career as an actress and solo artist.
