On October 10, 2024, REMOW shared exciting news with Sportkeeda Anime through email, revealing their latest anime project, Tasokare Hotel, which is centered around a mystery game and is scheduled to debut in January 2025. The initial trailer has already premiered, offering a glimpse into the series alongside the theme song.
This much-anticipated anime finds its roots in a game that revolves around unraveling mysteries. It is set in the enigmatic Tasokare Hotel, a unique space that exists between the realms of the living and the dead. This hotel serves as a temporary haven for souls as they work to regain their memories and uncover the reasons for their presence there.

During this event, fans will also have the chance to meet the series’ primary voice actors, including Rika Momokawa, Koudai Sakai, and Yusuke Shirai, who will be making special appearances.
The recently released trailer offers viewers a glimpse into what to expect from this intriguing series. The Tasokare Hotel is characterized by its perpetual twilight, never experiencing the bright light of day or the darkness of night. It serves as a resting place for souls who are yet to determine whether their journey takes them to the afterlife or allows them to stay within the realm of the living.
The narrative follows the journey of Neko Tsukahara, who arrives at the Tasokare Hotel without any recollection of her identity or how she came to this liminal space. As the trailer unfolds, a hotel employee guides her to a room filled with items designed to spark her fading memories. In her quest to regain her past, Neko assumes a role within the hotel staff, embarking on an emotional exploration of her lost identity.
The trailer also highlighted the anime’s opening theme, titled “TASOKARE,”composed and sung by Kayoko Yoshizawa, a talented artist known for his contributions to works like Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions and The Last Restaurant series.
