On Tuesday, May 28, 2024, the official website for the Tasuketsu anime series began streaming a new promotional video, which confirmed the release date of Wednesday, July 3, 2024. The latest trailer also announced the release time and Japanese broadcast channels for the premiere of the series.
The Tasuketsu anime released a trailer announcing three additional cast members who will be joining the series. Along with this announcement, character visuals for each of the new cast members were also released. The promotional video also included a preview of the opening theme song and revealed the artist and title of the ending theme song for the series.
The television anime adaptation of the Tasuketsu manga series, written and illustrated by Taiga Miyakawa, is known as the Tasuketsu anime. It first aired on Comic Smart’s Ganma! website in September 2013 and is currently still ongoing, with regular serialization as of the writing of this article.
Tasuketsu Anime Premieres on July 3, 2024 in Japan
The highly anticipated Tasuketsu anime series is scheduled to debut on the NTV channel on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 1:59AM Japanese Standard Time (JST). It will also be broadcasted on the BS NTV and RAB Aomori Broadcasting Corporation channels later on the same day, at a time yet to be announced.
The latest trailer also featured the opening theme “Emperor Time”by Vivarush and the ending theme “GAME OVER”by issey, confirming and previewing them for the promotional video. Additionally, new cast members were announced, including Kotomi Aihara as Borinmaru Gokokuhotenji, Shiki Aoki as Rika Suzuki, and Kentaro Kumagai as Hayato Soma.
The main cast of the show includes Yuto Uemura as Saneatsu Narito, Anna Nagase as Saaya Fujishiro, Kazuki Ura as Ryuta Ichinose, Kouki Ohsuzu as Kazuhiko Sato, Shiori Mikami as Omi Jin, Yuki Nakashima as Eren Kunashiri, Daisuke Ono as Tojuro Yagihashi, Jun Kasama as Ryoei Sudo, Shuta Morishima as Sotaro Shinozaki, KENN as Ren Iruga, Kenjiro Tsuda as Hisoka Mido, and Yuka Terasaki as the Emperor. The trio will be joining this talented cast.
Tatsuo Sato is the director and script supervisor at Satelight studios for the anime. Toru Hamazaki serves as the assistant director, with Nami Hayashi in charge of character design and R.O.N. composing the series’ music. The production also includes the following staff members:

The plot revolves around five individuals who find themselves in a world where everyone else has mysteriously vanished. The enigmatic “Emperor”contacts them anonymously and persuades them to participate in a game. The game’s only rule is the phrase “majority dies,”and players must decide if they want to live or die.
