Teamfight Tactics patch 14.9: New Artifact Items, Heavenly and Ghostly Reworks

The upcoming update for Teamfight Tactics will introduce a variety of new Artifact items to strategize with, as well as adjustments to the Ghostly and Heavenly traits that will allow them to function more independently.

Teamfight Tactics’ eleventh set has already experienced significant changes in its meta. The latest patch, 14.9, aims to further shake things up by adding new Artifact items to the mix. Additionally, the patch includes reworks for the Heavenly and Ghostly traits, which have become too versatile and easy to incorporate into team compositions.

TFT Patch 14.9 Release Date

The release date for Teamfight Tactics’ latest patch is set to coincide with the launch of League of Legends Patch 14.9 on May 1, 2024. As usual, there may be a short period of server downtime before the patch is available for play.

What’s changing in TFT Patch 14.9?

Artifact Items

In Patch 14.9, there will be a multitude of new artifact items being added. These strong items are sure to change the way you construct your composition and will greatly impact player decision-making.

Heavenly and Ghostly Reworks

The developers have noticed that Heavenly and Ghostly are too dominant in other team compositions, but are not as effective when used as a vertical. In response, they plan to focus more on developing these traits and increasing the strength of the units within them.
