Two young sisters were upset when an elderly woman harassed them at a Taylor Swift concert in August.
While attending the Eras Tour in Warsaw, Poland this August, two teenage sisters were attempting to record their experience at the Taylor Swift concert when they were interrupted by an elderly woman.
A woman wearing black glasses and a bright pink top can be heard calling the girls “trash”in a viral TikTok video recorded by one of the sisters, Neriya.
As Neriya recorded the incident, the woman was laughing at the derogatory remarks she had made.
The elderly concert-goer was also taken aback when the 15 and 16-year-old girls revealed that they had called their mother to have security remove her for harassing them.
Despite the sisters’ threat to expose her live on TikTok, she still managed to avoid being seen in the film’s frame.
Neriya’s TikTok caption, which has garnered over 35M views, stated, “I have never been harassed the way I was at the Taylor Swift concert the other night. But let’s be real, Taylor Swift would be extremely disappointed.”
@neriyayazminnn taylor swift would be very disappointed 🙁.. No but seriously i have never been harassed the way i was at the taylor swift concert the other night, being a teenage girl and having a group of grown women harrass me and my sister for the only reason being our skin color is an experience ill never forget..Being an older sister watching my sister cry and get terribly upset because of someone so full of hate truly hurt my heart and i hope this women and her friends who helped and supporter her get the karma they deserve. #taylorswift #warsaw #fypシ #karen #findher ♬ original sound – neriya 💛
As a teenage girl, my sister and I were subjected to harassment from a group of grown women solely because of our skin color. This is an experience that will stay with me forever.
As I watched my younger sister cry and become deeply upset because of someone filled with hate, my heart ached. I can only hope that the woman responsible and her accomplices receive the karma they deserve for their actions.
The teenagers’ experiences resonated with viewers, who empathized with their sadness after witnessing what they went through.
“One person commented, ‘I am so sorry to hear about the mean things that were said. It is not okay to be treated that way.’”
“My lord, I apologize deeply. It is truly despicable for this woman to treat a child in such a manner. Please forgive me, my dear,”chimed in another.
Despite being threatened by Neriya and her sister with a security escort, it is unclear if the woman was actually escorted out of the Taylor Swift concert.
