Tekken 8 is known for its difficulty, as the franchise has always placed a strong emphasis on legacy skills. For those who have played the game for years, the mechanics come naturally. However, for a new player, particularly a computer-controlled opponent, this is not always the case.

Despite this, the bot’s continuous success and advancement on the ranked ladder only serves to highlight the limited understanding of newer players. The situation has become so dire that opponents are even forfeiting matches if they are pitted against the Eddy Gordo bot.
Similarly, 3ddySmurfy, another streamer who goes by the username 3ddySmurfy on Twitch, also tested out this bot and demonstrated comparable outcomes during ranked matchmaking. This raises questions about the level of attention players give to events and how much information they acquire.
After being scripted, a bot relies on consistent patterns in combat, as simply pressing a single button limits its options. In the event of a losing battle, it is more effective to practice and strategize against the bot’s moves rather than forcefully trying to win. This same reasoning was echoed by a Redditor in a similar discussion.
Regardless, the current state of Tekken 8 is accurately portrayed by this Eddy Gordo bot. While the game is exceptional, there are areas that require improvements. A comprehensive patch is currently in development to address various issues within the game. The developers have also shared a comprehensive roadmap for the remainder of the year.
