Riot Games is adding a new PvE game mode to its popular titles, this time in Teamfight Tactics with TFT: Tocker’s Trials. We have gathered all the information about this upcoming mode, which is set to be released in August.
Riot is once again expanding their PvE content in 2024, with the introduction of Swarm mode to the League of Legends client in July. Tocker’s Trials, a single-player PvE mode in TFT, offers a similar gameplay experience but instead challenges players to face increasingly difficult bosses and enemies rather than competing against each other.
Riot has described this new mode as an “experimental surprise”and appears to be expanding upon the popularity of Swarm.
The mode will maintain a similar gameplay experience to regular TFT, with the only difference being more challenging bosses and boards in comparison to the usual rotation of human opponents.
The following paragraph contains all the current information about TFT: Tocker’s Trials, such as its release date, gameplay details, and other relevant details.
TFT: Tocker’s Trials release date
The TFT PvE mode is set to be unveiled on August 27, 2024, and will remain playable until September 24, 2024. Players can access the mode on the PBE before its official launch date, beginning on August 13.
Tocker’s Trials Gameplay
The upcoming game mode in TFT will incorporate the existing champions and augments from Magic n’ Mayhem for the PvE mode. The gameplay will mirror a standard match of TFT, where players will earn gold and points towards their level with each turn, competing against the computer. However, charms will not be available in this mode.

Winning requires players to take down six bosses over the course of 30 rounds. However, players will have a limited three lives, replacing TFT’s usual health bar, and can only lose three times.
Points will be awarded for each round based on performance, and they will accumulate over all 30 rounds, allowing players to showcase their skills.
Chaos Mode
Upon completing the mode for the first time, players will gain access to Chaos Mode. The details of this version of Tocker’s Trails have not been disclosed by Riot at this time.
“Riot stated in a press release about the new mode that there is a specific reason for its name, which they prefer players to discover on their own.”
Tocker’s Trails, a game mode in TFT, will only be temporary. However, if enough players participate and show interest, Riot may consider making it a permanent addition or bringing it back in the future, as they have done with other popular game modes in the past.
