That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Vesta and Kaijin’s Latest Invention Revealed in Season 3 Episode 4 Highlights

Continuing from the events of the previous episode, the fourth episode of season 3 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime begins with Rimuru Tempest inquiring about any developments in the Jura Tempest’s monster ecosystem to his companions.

Souei explains that despite the chaos caused by a Sword Grizzly in the forest, he was able to handle it. As seen in That Time I Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 4, the Sword Grizzly is comparable to a Knight Spider, both being considered A-minus rank creatures.

Rimuru is concerned about the potential impact of the increasing number of monsters in the nation. To address this issue, Vesta proposes implementing an Anti-Magic Barrier along the highways. When Rimuru asks about this, Kaijin explains that they have successfully constructed a fully automated magic generator capable of producing the barrier.

Based on the events of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 4, it can be inferred that Vesta and Kaijin’s Anti-Magic Barrier functions similarly to Rune magic. By harnessing the magicules present in the air, it is able to form a protective barrier.

Rimuru believes the Monster nation, with its high magicule density, is the ideal place for this invention. Additionally, Vesta discloses that the device can be utilized to activate various types of magic.

The barrier can be activated by installing the devices along the highways, as suggested by him. The presence of high magicule density in the air eliminates the need to constantly refuel the device. As long as the machine is functioning properly, there is no need for further maintenance.
