Bandai Namco Filmworks, one of the producers of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3, released a new preview trailer for the second half of the third season on June 8, 2024, on their YouTube channel. The trailer showcased the upcoming theme songs and announced new cast members for the remaining episodes.
One of the most highly anticipated series airing in the Spring 2024 anime season is the third season of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. The first half of the season, consisting of 10 episodes, focused on the Saint-Monster Confrontation arc. The remaining episodes will cover the Founding the Demon Capital arc, potentially spanning the entire season.

The preview trailer opened with a flashback to the beginning of the confrontation between Rimuru Tempest and Hinata Sakaguchi. It then transitioned to a sneak peek of the next episode, showing Hinata being welcomed by the residents of Jura Tempest.
The latter half of the trailer highlighted the theme songs for the second half of the season and introduced the new members of the cast, along with their respective voice actors. The trailer concluded with a glimpse of Rimuru Tempest, in his slime form.
Momoiro Clover Z will perform the opening theme for the second theme, titled “Renacer Serenade,”while MindaRyn will sing the ending theme song, titled “Miracle Soup.”Both of these artists have a proven track record of providing theme songs for popular anime series, with MindaRyn having previously performed for well-known series such as That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 1 part 2 and By The Grace of Gods.
The second cour will feature Elmesia El-Ru Sarion, voiced by Hisoka Kanemoto (known for playing Zenith in Mushoku Tensei), Momoji, voiced by Moe Kahara (known for her role as Fuuko in Undead Unluck), and Masayuki, voiced by Matsuoka Yoshitsugu (famous for voicing Zenitsu in Demon Slayer).

The initial installment of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 covered the Saint-Monster Confrontation arc, which revealed the Seven Days Clergy and the Rozzo family as the orchestrators of the Western Holy Church and Lucelius’ ongoing feud.
The focus of the story revolved around the clash between Rimuru Tempest, leader of Jura Tempest, and Hinata Sakaguchi, Captain of the Crusader forces. This conflict arose from the manipulation of the Archbishop’s message by the Clergies, leading to a confrontation between Rimuru and Hinata. In the end, Hinata joined forces with Rimuru to defeat the Clergies and bring an end to the conflict.
