That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 6 highlights: Rimuru holds an urgent meeting
Continuing from the events of the previous episode, episode 6 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 opens with Rimuru Tempest convening an urgent meeting with his executives. During the meeting, Souei delivers the news that Hinata and a group of five are making their way towards Tempest.
Additionally, he discloses that the Temple Knights from the neighboring nations are currently advancing towards Falmuth, with a force of over 30,000 troops, in order to defeat the Demon responsible for the death of the Archbishop. It seems that they suspect Sir Youm of being the individual who is assisting the culprit.
Therefore, Soei believes in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 6 that Jura Tempest cannot rely on their neighboring forces for help. Diablo expresses remorse for sending Reyhiem as their envoy.
Despite his mistakes, Rimuru assures him that they can be easily rectified. The slime implores his demon butler to follow through with the original plan until the end, much to Diablo’s delight.
History of the Western Holy Church
In the sixth episode of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3, Shuna proposes that Rimuru consult Adalmann, the former high priest of Luminisim, for guidance on the current state of the Western Holy Church.
Upon Gabiru’s summons, the undead priest promptly arrives. Adalmann quickly discloses his previous role as a cardinal within the Western Holy Church. He proceeds to educate them on the history of the church, detailing the Papacy’s creation of the Temple knights to safeguard their faithful followers.
As tensions with foreign nations escalated, the Papacy established a new organization called the Master Rooks, granting them direct control over the Temple Knights. Subsequently, the church gained the support of the Crusaders, further bolstering their influence, particularly with the addition of the powerful Seven Days Clergy.
Following his recounting of events in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 6, Adalmann cautions Rimuru about the Ten Great Saints of Lubelius, a revered and formidable assembly of Enlightened individuals.
Adalmann, along with others, believes that Hinata is en route to Tempest accompanied by four Great Saints. As a former priest of Lubelius, Adalmann confides in Rimuru his desire to persuade Hinata to forsake her current beliefs and instead place her trust in the slime. While everyone agrees with Adalmann’s plan, Rimuru is hesitant to complicate matters further.
Rimuru’s Pre-Confrontation Policies with Hinata
After Adalmann’s departure, episode 6 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 depicts Rimuru Tempest creating practical policies.
Veldora is asked to serve as their “last line”of defense in case of any issues. At the same time, Benimaru informs the slime about the tasks assigned to him by Sir Youm for the reinforcements.
In order to carry out the mission, he plans to send a group of 4,300 individuals, which includes Gobta’s team. Hakuro is chosen as the supreme commander for this task and Ranga is assigned to ensure the safety of Gobta’s party.
Despite Diablo’s initial projections, he is taken aback by the news of thirty thousand reinforcements. He had estimated the new king’s force to be around ten thousand, but the demon butler remains determined to secure the safety of Youm and Edmaris by devising clever strategies.
In the meantime, he plans to track down the individual who falsely accused him of the crime and conduct a “gentle”interrogation. Later, in episode 6 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3, Rimuru Tempest considers who would be the best candidate to face Hinata and her followers in battle.
Soei informs Rimuru that the Crusaders have initiated their movement and are expected to arrive within two weeks. Surprisingly, the Great Sage reminds Rimuru that there is still an opportunity for him to negotiate with Hinata. In response, the slime requests assistance from others to buy him more time.
His objective is for his executives to sustain the fight without causing harm to any Paladins or casualties on their own side. Shion asserts that her Team Reborn is fully equipped for the task, possessing unique abilities such as Complete Memory and Self-Regeneration. In the event of any complications, Benimaru’s Team Kurenai will also participate in the battle.
Nevertheless, Rimuru remains concerned about the potential threat posed by the four Saints. In response, Benimaru offers his assurance that he is prepared to fight if necessary. The three Beastketeers and other allies also express their willingness to join the battle at Rimuru’s request.
The meeting concludes with the slime passionately urging everyone to not hesitate in defeating enemies, especially if they are faced with a situation where their own safety is at stake.
The Rozzos Hold a Round Table with Grenda and the East Merchant
In episode 6 of season 3 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, the setting shifts to a castle where a round table conference takes place. The leader of the Rozzo family, Sir Granville, greets Damrada, an Eastern merchant, and it is uncovered that Grenda is involved in a plot.
The Rozzo family has been strategizing with the East Merchants to ensure a smooth execution of their plans for the conflict between Hinata and Rimuru Tempest. Despite having conflicting desires, the episode reveals their determination to handle the situation effectively.
Granville instructs Damrada to follow through with the plan and eliminate the conspiring Demon in Falmuth. In addition, he assigns Grenda to assist Edward and puts more pressure on Edmaris.
After Damrada’s departure, Granville also inquires the red-haired battlesage to happily accept the task of using Cerberus to restrict the Demon’s movements. He then turns to his granddaughter, Mariabel, to confirm that all is well.
The girl believes that Rimuru will be occupied with handling Hinata, while the Western nations have stepped in to halt the Civil War in Falmuth, acting in the name of King Edward. Therefore, the new king will owe Granville a debt of gratitude.
