What if you could get the processing power of an Intel Core i7 from the most recent generation in a computer that is small enough to hide behind or behind almost anything? The market for tiny Computers is one that is slowly but definitely expanding, and Intel’s NUC portfolio is among the best in the industry. The most recent version has arrived, and it packs a significant punch.
Intel has introduced a new series of compact personal computers known as the NUC 13 Pro. These new PCs are outfitted with the company’s most recent 13th generation Core processors. There are a great number of compact personal computers that are equipped with these processors; however, being in-house products developed by Intel, it is extremely difficult to make a mistake when using them. You may acquire them with up to an Intel Core i7-1370P central processing unit (CPU), which is a chip that also powers some of the most powerful Windows laptops that money can buy. They measure just 4 inches by 4 inches.
Additionally, it supports maximum connectivity via Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and Thunderbolt 4, thanks to its two SODIMM slots, which allow you to equip it with up to 64GB of DDR4-3200 RAM. The NUC will be offered for sale by Intel in a few distinct configurations; but, in the following months, it is possible that it will also be included into pre-built computers produced by other firms. The Meerkat tiny PC, which is based on Intel NUCs and was recently updated by System76, utilizes an outdated design and supports up to 12th generation Intel processors. However, the model is based on Intel NUCs.
Kits and tiny PCs based on the NUC 13 Pro will be made available over the next few weeks, and their costs will range from $340 to $1,080. Product listings are not yet live, but they should become available at retailers such as Newegg very shortly. But, if you are comfortable using macOS, the M2 Mac Mini would almost probably outperform it in terms of price-to-performance.
