The Acolyte Episode 4 Contradicted Star Wars Lore with One Small Detail

The Acolyte has been stirring up the Star Wars fan community with its controversial impact on the franchise, but a particular detail in Episode 4 has sparked intense speculation among lore enthusiasts.

Whether you love it or hate it, it cannot be denied that The Acolyte is introducing something entirely unique to the Star Wars timeline.

Despite facing criticism for its diversity, the series has received support from certain stars who are now speaking out against the backlash. However, following the release of Episode 4, there are also concerns about the portrayal of the Jedi Order and how well it aligns with its established lore.

“You don’t have to do that,”a fan posted on Reddit, questioning why the Jedi would use a force push to open a door when they should have access to their own temple’s rooms.

Despite being an impressive display of power, it also raises concerns about the use of the Force, something that fans have long believed should only be utilized when necessary.

“Do you recall the time when Jedi used to see the force as a power not to be misused?”a second person chimed in, while the third person interjected, “I also remember when Mara scolded Anakin for casually using the Force.”

One person further elaborated, stating that “Under normal circumstances, with capable writers and creators who are familiar with Legends books, this could be seen as a clue that this individual is possibly associated with the Dark Side.”

“Anakin’s attention was caught when he saw Palpatine effortlessly using the Force to fix his caught cloak. This prompted a lecture from Palpatine on breaking free from the limitations imposed by the Jedi.”

Despite this, there is a clear purpose behind Vernestra’s reckless use of the Force. As evidenced by the events in Episode 3, there is a deliberate effort to challenge the traditional understanding of the Force. Mother Ansieya’s witch coven has introduced the concept of the Force as a “thread”to be controlled.

Despite being open to interpretation, it can be concluded that a significant number of Star Wars enthusiasts are not pleased with Vernestra’s choices.

“A fan expressed their belief that the person who opened the door did so without considering logic, stating, “I feel like the person just felt like doing it and no one there cares about logic.”Another fan agreed, adding, “THANK YOU!!!! I thought I was the only one questioning the use of the Force by the Green Adult Jedi Master(ette) to open the door.”

“I am unable to recall that Jedi utilize the force to open and close doors while in friendly territory.”

Let’s keep our excitement for the Andor Season 2 release date and Tales of the Jedi Season 2 going as we continue to journey into hyperspace armed with all the information we have.
