The recent developments in the Boruto manga series have sparked discussions among fans about Himawari’s character. This has set the stage for Himawari, and it’s no wonder that fans are discussing this beloved character from Boruto.

Despite the lack of explicit information in the manga, fans have expressed concern about Himawari’s age. This has led to the question – how old is Himawari in the Boruto series? However, it can be inferred that Himawari is in her early teens based on the events in the manga.

Himawari is approximately 13 to 14 years old in the Two Blue Vortex manga series. The age difference between her and her brother is two years, and after the time skip, the protagonist is around 16 years old. This information was confirmed by a translated Settei Sheet, which revealed that Boruto’s current age is 16 years old. Taking into account the two-year age gap between the siblings, Himawari’s current age in the manga series is approximately 14 years old.

Despite her young age, Kurama was able to manifest within her, granting her the status of a full-fledged Jinchuriki. This greatly enhanced her potential to the point where she could even surpass her father, Naruto Uzumaki.

It will be thrilling to witness Himawari unleash her full potential in the upcoming chapters.

At the time of writing, the manga has not directly addressed this issue. However, Masashi Kishimoto has left the discussion open-ended by having Kurama address it. The Nine-Tailed Beast speculates on a few possible reasons for Himawari becoming a Jinchuriki. One possibility is fate, as Kurama is aware that his death is not permanent and he will eventually be reborn. He believes it was fate that brought about his reincarnation in the form of Himawari.

Despite not receiving a definite answer from Kurama, it was still important to consider the fact that she shared Hinata and Naruto’s blood. As Naruto was the previous Jinchuriki, he believed that his chakra could have potentially been passed on to her. This point will be further explored in the manga towards the end of the series.
