The Ambush of Will Serfort in Wistoria: Wand and Sword Episode 5 by Julius, and the Secret Spell of the Ice Mage

One of the standout moments in Wistoria: Wand and Sword episode 5 was when Julius Reinberg unexpectedly attacked Will Serfort and his team in the Enchanted Woods. Fans were amazed by the Ice Mage’s performance since he had previously been in a different area with his fellow teammates.

Nevertheless, Julius was spotted by himself as he launched a surprise attack on Will using a powerful ice spell. This raises the question of how the skilled Ice mage managed to outmaneuver Will Serfort’s team and catch the young mage off guard.

For those who are only familiar with the anime, it may be interesting to learn that Julius was able to perform an incredible feat using a hidden spell known as Ars Weiss. This spell allows the user to generate living copies of themselves and was originally developed by Elfaria, one of the Magia Vanders, when she was just two years old.

Exploring Julius’s Secret Spell Used to Ambush Will Serfort in Wistoria: Wand and Sword Episode 5

Prior to starting, it should be emphasized that Julius Reinberg’s ambush of Will Serfort in episode 5 of Wistoria: Wand and Sword occurred. Following their successful completion of the Badlands zone, Will, Colette, and Sion proceeded to the Enchanted Woods, the last challenge of the Crown Attack competition at the Grand Magic Festival.

Despite being in a different location with his teammates, Julius Reinberg was still far from reaching the forest where Will’s team had already cleared the obstacles. Therefore, it was highly unlikely for him to catch up and overtake Will in the race during episode 5 of Wistoria: Wand and Sword.

In episode 5 of Wistoria: Wand and Sword, Julius was able to ambush Will Serfort. The key to his success as an Ice mage was a spell known as Ars Weiss, which allows him to manifest living ice clones. These clones possess the same abilities as the caster, making them powerful allies in battle.

It should be noted that Arts Weiss is among the twelve spells created by Elfaria Albis Serfort. The original set of spells created by Magia Vander was called El Glace Frosse, in recognition of her significant contributions to the field of magic.

Additionally, she was promoted to the rank of Magia Vander for her exceptional ability in creating original magic spells. One of these spells was Art Weiss, which she had mastered at the young age of two.

It is undeniable that Julius’s feat of replicating Magia Vander’s distinctive spell on his own was remarkable. However, according to Fujino Omori’s manga, he had not yet mastered the magic completely.

Despite Julius’s efforts in the Grand Magic Festival against Will Serfort, he was only able to create eight living clones. This was much less than Elfaria, who at the young age of two, was able to conjure ten clones. Additionally, it was discovered that Julius relied on his teammates’ amplification magic to control his clones.

Upon hearing from Will that Elfaria had already mastered Ars Weiss as an infant, Julius was filled with humiliation. However, he still held onto the fact that his secret magic spell gave him an edge over everyone else, except for the formidable Will Serfort.

Through his use of Ars Weiss, he was able to create living clones and deploy them to various battlefields, proving himself to be an exceptional student from the Rigarden Magic Academy.
