Recognizing its potential, Alan advises her to improve the sword’s construction.
Afterwards, Alan makes his way to Riese and Beatrice, who inform him that their kingdom’s top general was recently killed, possibly by a demon. Meanwhile, on the opposing side, Horace commands Mylene to target Riese and Noel for assassination.
In the latter portion of the episode, Horace can be seen wielding his Fenrir as he launches an attack on Noel, who is fighting back with all her strength. In the midst of the chaos, Noel is struck by a memory of the tragic death of Vanessa, and Horace takes the opportunity to try and persuade her to join him. However, Noel firmly rejects his proposal, prompting Horace’s Fenrir to launch a deadly assault on her. Luckily, Alan arrives just in time and manages to defeat the Fenrir, causing Horace to flee.
It is no surprise when Mylene arrives on Riese’s side and is quickly captured. Upon capturing her, Noel decides to assume responsibility for her. Meanwhile, Horace successfully escapes but is abruptly killed by a mysterious demon. Shortly after, this demon takes on the task of assassinating Riese and Noel.
