Fans binged The Bear Season 3 faster than you can say “hands!” – but if you’re planning on doing the same with The Bear Season 4 this year, think again.
Although it has only been a month since the emotionally charged ride of The Bear Season 3, fans are already eager for more. The ending left us with numerous questions, but none seem as urgent as the fate of Carmy’s restaurant amidst the turmoil.
Despite our excitement for The Bear Season 4, there is a slight catch – the release date has been pushed back to at least summer 2025.
Despite the speculation of the third and fourth chapters being filmed simultaneously and the anticipation of additional episodes being released this year, the news has been disappointing for those still eagerly awaiting the release.

“With the news, one fan tweeted, “We need it now,”while another agreed, “2025? That’s such a long time… even my leftover pizza won’t make it.”
Despite the news, there are still fans who strongly oppose it. One person even chimed in with their opinion, stating that even if filming begins in November and Ebon is able to film, there will still only be two episodes left and the release date would be pushed to March 2025.
FX CEO John Landgraf clarified to Variety, “The delay in bringing it back was due to the actors’ current film projects. We originally started the show with a talented team of actors, but now we have a star-studded cast.”
“A chunk of production still needs to be completed and we have not yet received all the scripts.”
He further stated, “I cannot confirm, but I believe it will return at the same time next year,”suggesting that fan theories may hold some truth.
Furthermore, there is uncertainty surrounding the extent of filming for The Bear Season 4. During a press conference, when questioned about it, the cast of The Bear replied, “We did something along those lines. A small rendition of it, in a way. But not precisely.”
Fortunately for The Bear fans, Landgraf also mentioned that he was uncertain about Season 4 being the final season, leaving a possibility for more episodes in the future.
