Along with the TAQ Evolvere, the HRM-9 was introduced in the Season 1 Reloaded update. This new submachine gun is based on the real-world Beretta PMX and, like its Italian inspiration, it is a modern designed weapon, chambered in 9mm.
Although it is a relatively low caliber weapon, the HRM-9 holds its own at medium ranges and can even compete with some assault rifles.

The HRM-9 has sporadic recoil which makes it difficult to hold the target. To remedy this we use the JAK BFB which provides incredible recoil control, although this comes at the cost of revealing your position to enemy radars when you fire.
The Folding Stock is another great accessory for improving recoil, while the Princeps Long Barrel significantly increases damage range. These accessories make the HRM-9 even more versatile and allow it to compete with mid-range assault rifles.
Finally, accessories like the DR-6 Handguard and the 1mw Rapid Fire Laser will improve ADS speed, which is essential for a submachine gun.

A Frag Grenade is always a wise choice, as it can be prepared to explode at the perfect moment, leaving no chance for the opponent to escape. Likewise, the Flash Grenade is a Call of Duty classic that blinds enemies, making them easy to take down.
