In Warzone, you can choose from four aim assist settings:
- Flaw: Classic aiming system used in Modern Warfare games that slows down near a target.
- Accuracy: Aiming slows down significantly only when aiming close to the target. Reserved for specific players.
- Concentration: Aiming slows down significantly when you narrowly miss the target. Reserved for players who are new to analog aiming.
- Black Ops: Classic aiming system used in Black Ops games that slows down near a target.
Although it’s a fairly subjective decision, we suggest going with Black Ops’ aim assist setting. In our opinion, aim assist in Black Ops is better than the default settings, which is especially beneficial for players who want to lock on to targets quickly.
Of course, if you don’t like the overall strength of this setting, then Default will be your best option.
The best aim response curve
Warzone offers three types of aim response curves, each with the following properties:
- Standard: Standard response curve between joystick movement and aiming speed.
- Linear: Aiming speed corresponds directly to joystick movement.
- Dynamic: Inverted S-curve that provides precise aiming control.
If you are an experienced Warzone or FPS player, we recommend choosing Dynamic for a finer response curve. It takes a little getting used to, but the increased control is hard to turn down. Of course, if Dynamic is not to your taste, then we recommend Standard.
