Soldier Boy is set to make a comeback in Season 5 of The Boys, and that’s not the only exciting news: he will also be starring in his own spinoff series along with the show’s most despicable villain.
The conclusion of Season 4 of The Boys resulted in a shift in the show’s power structure. Homelander, who was believed to be dead, is revealed to be alive and now holds a position in the White House. Additionally, he has enlisted supes nationwide to target “Starlighters”and work towards making “America super again.”
In the final moments, viewers finally saw what they had been anticipating: Homelander discovered Soldier Boy imprisoned and unconscious inside a massive tube.
He is set to return in Season 5 alongside his Supernatural co-star Jared Padalecki, who is rumored to have a guest role. Additionally, he will be the lead in a prequel spinoff.

Ackles is set to reprise his role in Vought Rising, a new series delving into the early years of Soldier Boy’s superhero career. Aya Cash will also be making a comeback as Stormfront, the Nazi antagonist from Season 2.

The announcement for the project was made during San Diego Comic-Con. Showrunner Eric Kripke expressed his excitement to bring fans the next twisted series set in the world of The Boys (as reported by Deadline).
The story delves into a dark murder case from the 1950s, exploring the beginnings of Vought and the early adventures of Soldier Boy. It also follows the cunning schemes of a powerful Supe, known to followers as Stormfront, who was previously known as Clara Vought.
“This salacious and grisly saga, drenched in blood and Compound V, is sure to captivate your minds and stir your souls.”
It is crucial to remember that Stormfront was previously known as Liberty and had a romantic involvement with Soldier Boy. Considering that Soldier Boy is speculated to be Homelander’s father, it raises the question of whether Stormfront could potentially be his mother.
Although Vought Rising currently does not have a set release date, it is uncertain if it will be released before Season 5. However, fans can expect Gen V Season 2 to continue directly after Season 4 and is planned for a release sometime in 2025.
