The Boys Fans Notice Hilarious MCU Parody in Season 4 Episode 5 Promo

In a new promo for Season 4 Episode 5, it has been revealed that The Boys will have another parody of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Boys has solidified its position as the top superhero series for combatting franchise exhaustion, portraying Supes as highly flawed, deceitful, and motivated by personal gain and greed.

Many have described Homelander as an evil version of Superman, and there have been numerous parodies mocking the constantly expanding MCU and DCU. This even includes a movie within the show’s universe, titled Dawn of The Seven, which parodies the Avengers and Justice League.

The upcoming episode of The Boys, as unveiled in a promo released by IGN, takes the concept to the next level.

In the video, we are transported to the V52 Expo where The Deep announces his intended Vought Cinematic Universe, Phases 7 to 19, playfully mocking the endless expansion of Marvel movies.

The flow chart, similar to those seen in Marvel productions, appears on the screen, revealing a comprehensive list of upcoming VCU TV shows and movies. This trend continues as the chart remains displayed.

The list comprises of the movie ‘Training A-Train’ that we watched in Season 4 Episode 2, along with Firecracker: Lord’s Soldier, The Deep: Secrets of Atlantis, and not just one but two Tek Knight films.

The audience of The Boys have been thoroughly entertained by this overtly satirical jab, with one viewer even deeming the titles as “hilarious.”

One person remarked, “The MCU’s quality is suffering in Phase 4 because they are too focused on catching up with the success of the Vought Cinematic Universe.”

The announcement of Phases 7 to 19 genuinely made me laugh as it reveals the direction the MCU is taking. In fact, a third person commented, “They are definitely making a mockery of Marvel,”while a fourth person joked, “They are seriously trolling Marvel.”

Look familiar?

On Reddit, a fan noted that “V52″may be a nod to D23, Disney’s expo where they announce projects that are often later cancelled, particularly those related to Star Wars.

Some are paying closer attention to Homelander, who seems to be falling apart following his violent rampage at the Vought laboratory in Season 4 Episode 4.

“One person remarked, “He’s bound to snap either this season or the next,”while another expressed, “I’m feeling anxious if Sage is feeling anxious.”A third person stated, “After his experience in the lab, Sage will have a difficult time dealing with Homelander. He seems even more unstable now.”

The fifth episode of The Boys Season 4 will be released on Prime Video on June 27.
