In a single, fleeting moment, the Season 4 finale of The Boys solidified the terrifying power of a Gen V superhero.
The final episode of Season 4 of The Boys was action-packed with multiple deaths and a controversial moment that may have affected the series. However, the biggest surprise of the episode was the revelation of one supe’s incredible strength.
The spinoff series Gen V introduced a diverse cast of young supes with fascinating abilities, among them Sam Riordan, who is often compared to Homelander due to the strength of his powers.
Despite the brief moment between Sam and Kimiko, it was evident that the young supe possessed incredible strength as he effortlessly held back The Boys’ toughest member with just his bare hands.
The conclusion of Season 4 Episode 8 depicted the rogue team being apprehended and sent to prison following Homelander and The Seven’s takeover of the government.
This scenario involved Kimiko and Frenchie, who were targeted by Sam and his accomplice, the Gen V supe Cate. While Frenchie was easily persuaded by Cate’s manipulation and voluntarily entered a black site truck, Kimiko bravely attempted to rescue him but was restrained by Sam.
Viewers were quite shocked when Sam was able to restrain Kimiko without any difficulty. This came as a surprise because Kimiko was previously regarded as the strongest member of The Boys.
Thanks to her incredible abilities of regenerative healing and super strength, Kimiko has engaged in intense battles against some of the most formidable characters in the series, such as Stormfront, the female counterpart to Homelander.
Despite her efforts, Sam appeared to have even greater strength than her, as he effortlessly maintained control over her without any apparent struggle.
As Season 5 of The Boys approaches, the team may face a major challenge with Sam’s immense strength, as they can no longer count on Kimiko to easily defeat their formidable foes.
