Despite some viewers being dissatisfied with the direction the show is heading in, others are already speculating about what Season 5 will bring as the violent series comes to an end.

In the 59th issue of The Boys, Jack from Jupiter, a member of The Seven, seeks revenge on Butcher by killing his faithful dog, Terror. This act was in retaliation for the release of controversial and explicit videos featuring himself.

Despite The Boys’ innocence in the leak, Butcher is forced to cope with the death of his dog. Seeking revenge, he visits a brothel known to be frequented by the superhero he holds responsible for the loss. In a fit of rage, Butcher repeatedly stabs the hero and demands to know why Terror was killed.

Although Jack the Jupiter is not a major character in the show, he is mentioned briefly. In Season 2, an actor plays the role of Jack in one of the explicit parody videos watched by Lamplighter. Additionally, in the Season 4 finale, Jack is listed as one of the Supers tasked with controlling riots if Homelander’s plan to assassinate Robert Singer is successful (which it is not).

Despite his limited presence, many viewers are skeptical that Jack would kill Terror in Season 5. However, this does not diminish their belief that Terror will ultimately meet his demise. While not a major character, Terror is briefly seen alongside Butcher and would undoubtedly have an impact on the antihero’s actions.

“A user wrote, envisioning the possibility of The Deep or Noir being sent to kill [Butcher’s] dog. It was clear that others also shared their speculation on who could potentially take down Terror.”

According to another commenter, while the show may not depict terror as prominently as the comics, they wouldn’t be surprised if The Deep or New Noir were to kill him. This, they noted, would result in Butcher taking revenge by “slaughtering”the responsible individual.
