The Boyz’s Sangyeon Caught Casting Vote in Poll About HYBE’s Bang Si Hyuk and BJ Seyeon’s Controversy

As a recent incident unfolded, The Boyz’s Sangyeon found himself the center of attention after he unwittingly participated in a poll concerning the scandal involving HYBE’s founder, Bang Si Hyuk, and BJ Seyeon, stirring quite a reaction online.

The third-generation idol became a trending topic when a netizen shared a screenshot on X revealing his engagement with an Instagram poll that questioned the implications of the company’s entanglement with a BJ.

For context, back in August, Bang Si Hyuk (52) caught public attention while being spotted in Los Angeles with Seyeon, a 24-year-old cam girl from Afreeca TV, prompting speculation about their connection.

During their outing, it was reported that Bang treated Seyeon and her older sister to a lavish dinner at a high-end restaurant in Malibu, further igniting conjectures about their relationship.

Although Seyeon has denied any romantic links with the HYBE executive, their public appearances quickly became a significant topic in South Korea, leading to numerous memes and comedic interpretations.

A particularly notable parody came from SNL Korea, which featured comedian Lee Soo Ji mimicking the encounter between Bang and Seyeon at a scenic spot over Cheonggyecheon in Euljiro.

Returning to the poll, users were asked:

“Which combined weight between the top and the bottom is the heaviest?”

The original photo was displayed at the top, while the parody image from SNL Korea was showcased below. The poll attracted over 100,000 votes, and among the participants, Sangyeon’s personal Instagram account, @thesangyeon, was noted.

While it remains unclear which option the idol selected, K-Netz was struck by the “awkward”nature of his participation.
