The Chosen Season 5 Reaches Huge Milestone as Filming Nears End

As production nears its end, The Chosen Season 5 has finally reached a profitable state thanks to over 100,000 fan donations.

Filming for The Chosen Season 5 began in April and, as emotions were running high on set (Jonathan Roumie shot his powerful “Jesus wept” scene this week), the production is now reaching its conclusion.

According to Dallas Jenkins, it’s crucial to remember that only a small percentage, less than 5%, of the millions of viewers of the series actually pay for it. The team behind the show has stated that it will always be available to stream for free, but it relies on donations to continue.

Thanks to the generous support of over 104,000 people from around the world, Season 5 has successfully reached its funding goal of $48 million.

The Come and See Foundation’s CEO, Stan Jantz, announced that Season 5 of the groundbreaking series has been fully funded thanks to the generous contributions of over 100,000 individuals from around the globe.

The daily acts of extraordinary generosity that we witness are truly inspiring as they allow us to keep spreading the message of the authentic Jesus to the world, one episode at a time.

“Our mission at Come and See is to share the incredible story of Jesus with as many people as possible, using the language they are most comfortable with. The response to The Chosen has been unprecedented, as people all over the world are captivated by the story of Jesus.”

Come and See is a nonprofit organization that is not only supporting The Chosen, but also collaborating to translate it into 600 languages. As the show’s primary partner, it has taken over after its separation from Angel Studios, the previous partner for Sound of Freedom.

Jenkins expressed his gratitude to the audience for giving him the opportunity to concentrate on producing The Chosen. He also emphasized the positive influence of the show, which is made possible by Come and See’s efforts in keeping it accessible and providing translations in multiple languages worldwide.
